Un estudio pionero se acaba de poner en marcha en Saraiva Sénior de Pontevedra. Treinta usuarios, tanto de la residencia como del centro de día ubicado en la calle Don Gonzalo, participan en una investigación que pretende demostrar que es posible y seguro desarrollar programas de ejercicio físico en mayores a través de videojuegos en un entorno inmersivo. Al frente de este trabajo está el investigador Pablo Campo, que hace tres años inició su proyecto apoyado por sus directores de tesis, José María Cancela y Gustavo Rodríguez. Los tres pertenecen al grupo de investigación HealthyFit de la Universidade de Vigo.
